On the first day, the class begins at Institute of Mosaic Art with introductions and lecture on design and technique. Participants will then drive together to Markham Elementary School in Oakland to begin the project. On the second day, students will meet at the mural site to complete the mural project.
Students should be prepared to work outside while creating a mosaic mural with ceramic, glass and found objects.
