Light, shade and texture in mosaics will be explored in this in-depth study and laboratory class.
Broaden your techniques and use of materials, including glass, unglazed
ceramics, minerals and fossils. Students develop ideas for a mosaic panel,
considering texture, scale, reflectivity and spacing, achieving effects
through varied cutting and laying styles, demonstrated by instructor.
Students should expect to bring materials to work with in class. Optional critique session during class time.
